Obama Uses Race Card in Missouri

July 31st, 2008 · No Comments

I don’t ever remember McCain questioning Obama’s patriotism, nor has he said anything about his name. As to “he’s risky” I agree, he is a big risk. As to the statement about looking like the presidents on dollar bills, it can only be construed as an attempt to play the race card, he is the first African-American to be a major candidate for president. However, I don’t ever remember anyone from the McCain campaign saying anything racist about Obama.

It almost sounds as if Obama put forth four things that he worrries

Obama’s Pride, Hubris at its’ Worst

July 31st, 2008 · No Comments

If he keeps this up, all this will be just so much wasted time and money because in January he will just be another junior senator. He is the most arrogant, conceited, and egotistic man I’ve ever seen run for president. It scares me to imagine what he would be like if he actually gets elected. Will we have to call him “The Leader”?

Obama Wants Deeds (Reparations)

July 30th, 2008 · No Comments

Of course, we all know that slavery once existed in America before the white man came, and significantly so after the white man came. It was easy to go to Africa and have Africans sell you other Africans for slavery.

A Letter about Obama’s Visit to Iraq

July 29th, 2008 · No Comments

I received this letter in my email yesterday. It was signed with the name and rank and unit of the soldier who wrote it. It does sound real based on my observation of politicos visiting in Viet Nam, except for the absence of meeting with the troops.

Fires, Smog, Sharks, Storms, and Broken Banks

July 28th, 2008 · No Comments

I think all the bank loan executives who made all those decisions to give out questionable loans should get a little jail time. But one thing I’ve found in the American Way of Life is that the higher up and more money you make, the less responsible you are. Companies fail and Golden Parachutes let the responsible CEOs walk away with millions.

Nukes, The USAF, and the Loss of Safety

July 26th, 2008 · No Comments

Last month Defense Secretary Gates fired the Secretary of the Air Force and the Air Force Chief of Staff mainly based on a report of shipment of AF fusing devices for ballistic missile nuclear warheads. About a year ago, one or more bombers made trips across the US with Nuclear bombs on board and nobody knew it until maintenance crews found them.

The Obama Speech in Berlin

July 24th, 2008 · 4 Comments

Wow, I wondered if Obama’s speech would be a lecture or a plea, turned out to be a little bit of both.  It lectured the people of the world on responsibility, and it pleaded for united action.  Some might think it a clarion call to unite and make the world a better, more European world.  [...]

Obama in Berlin

July 24th, 2008 · No Comments

And that poster on the speech, have you seen it? Incredible, the great heroic image of Obama straight from the mold of the fascist school of art in an Art Deco mode. Holy heroics, Batman! It looks like the image of man who wants/will take over the world, a man of infinite strength, determination, and may I say, diversity.

Wine Whine at Denny’s

July 24th, 2008 · No Comments

Tonight while dining at our local Denny’s Restaurant, we observed a couple who called the manager out to complain. It seems that while their food was quite satisfactory, they were definitely disappointed by the wine options available.

Happiness is a Real Possibility

July 22nd, 2008 · No Comments

Happiness is a lot like self-esteem. The more good things you do, the more you’ll be happy, and the more you’ll feel good about yourself. Forget all the crap the teachers told you in school about how wonderful you are. You know in your heart if you are doing good things or bad things.
