A Modest Proposal to Clean the BP Oil Spill in the Gulf

A lot of work is going on to clean up the massive oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. BP has even resorted to some chemicals that the US is not to hot about and has asked them to desist. There are other schemes being proposed to clean up the oil such as hair clippings from barber shops and using all the hay from the Southeastern states to soak it up.

The final nail in the coffin for me in reviewing this film was that I found it tedious, slow, pedantic, and maudlin. At one point, my mind wandered and I asked my wife if they had said anything significant. She answered, “No.” We were both glad when it was over and erased it immediately. It was a waste of time and a waste of money.
