Honor Flight for US WWII Veterans

This video of one honor flight function is indicative of all honor flights throughout the last couple of years. All the soldiers, veterans, and civilians who show up to honor the WWII vets are volunteers. Some are there nearly every Saturday to welcome these heroes.

Even though this is a proposed rule, VA encourages Vietnam Veterans with these three diseases to submit their applications for compensation now so the Agency can begin development of their claims and so they can receive benefits from the date of their applications once the rule becomes final.

The final nail in the coffin for me in reviewing this film was that I found it tedious, slow, pedantic, and maudlin. At one point, my mind wandered and I asked my wife if they had said anything significant. She answered, “No.” We were both glad when it was over and erased it immediately. It was a waste of time and a waste of money.
