Oregon State Legislature Votes to Allow Religious Garb (Hijab) in the Classroom.

The prime example used was the hijab, or Islamic head scarve. I guess other examples would be the turbans of Sikhs, the yarmulke and prayer sash of Jews, and the robes of Catholic nuns, friars, and priests. Of course, you can’t wear a t-shirt with the American Flag on it on May 5th.

Grammar, Education, and a Generation of Ignorance.

Now, I don’t want to get down on Kate, it really isn’t her fault. Our local Sports Editor on our local award winning paper makes the same mistake all the time. What really frosts my toes is that their editors, proof readers, or whoever else is responsible for checking the grammar is screwing up, and in multiple locations in the US.
