Only a President who is a liar or an idiot would be unaware of that many people converging on the Capitol steps. Surely, someone on his staff would have mentioned the turnout to him.

Florida, thanks to its defense, not its offense, is the NCAA National Football Champions for the 2nd time in three years. Tebow, the quarterback, is good and will get more credit than he deserves, but the 24 points they put on the board aren’t even close to Oklahoma’s normal score.

Read an article this morning discussing the pro’s and con’s of the BCS and who should be the 2008 National Champion in football. Seems three teams say they should be picked even though they are not in the BCS Championship Game tomorrow night between Florida and Oklahoma.

Half-time and Texas is behind 6-3. Ohio State is a good team, but not a great team. If Texas has any pretensions to the championship, it needed to win this won big, very big. Doesn’t look like it will happen.
