Not much action, lets try to get something going.
TOPIC: The Presidential Speech to School Children.
When the President announced that he would make a speech to school children, and released the work materials for teachers, there was a loud hue and cry about his “indoctrination of children”. The response was immediate and clear. “Keep your political hands off our children.”
Now, it was quite possible that the speech was innocuous and a mere pep talk to get kids to study harder and to obey the authorities and thus succeed better in life. But if this were true, the big question remains.
“What has the President done that would create such a knee-jerk reaction against what many Americans compared to Nazi and Soviet indoctrination of children?”
What are your thoughts?

Many of us think about the old times and the old places that bind us together. Some of us are using new bindings to link us together now. Hopefully, we can build on our “family ties” to bring our children and grandchildren to experience the old places and the old times.

Come on folks!! Bring up a subject or two that we can talk about. Being silent solves nothing and you may be able to change my mind about something.
