I would like to congratulate India on their successful launch of their two-year mission to the Moon. It is wonderful that we have a new nation entering space exploration, an endeavor so vast that only through international cooperation and mutual support will we successfully conquer space.
The mission of mapping the elements and materials of the Moon will bring work for scientists for years to come and is vital to anyone contemplating a Moon base, either as a way-station to the planets or as a resource of rare and vital materials.
I lift my glass to toast the many scientist and other workers who made this possible. Cheers!
